So what if they see it? They'll be happy that their son is not gay. I dont care if my parents see it.

I signed up for the previous free sub for Maxim and Blender in March, and yes I have been getting them! My sub is valid until March 2005!
The reason why these publishers are giving out free copies is to boost circulation figures to attract ad sales. These type of subscriptions are called "Qualified Controlled", which means they are sending free copies to individuals of a certain demographic target, who responded and verified that "they really exist". Publishing companies are audited for their circulation figures and the requirements are quite stringent. They cannot say they circulated X amount of copies to people who don't really exist to boost figures.
Free offers (like this one) come under publication audit rules. So if anything bad/scam happens, you can send complaints to the BPA or ABC publication audit bureaus.

Hell yeah. I have to have it sent to my house since my address at school won't be consistent for more than a year. I also had a free St. Pauli Girl bottle opener sent there and I'm not even 21 yet!
Parents will forget stupid things you do but the opportunity for free stuff only comes along every once in a while....

What's the Catch?
There Is None.
As you may know, most of the profits in magazine publishing come from advertising sales. It's just like TV: the higher the ratings, the more they charge for the commercials. With magazines, the more readers, the more they charge for the ads.
Because of our standing in the industry, from time to time, publishers will contact MagazineCity with special offers like these in an effort to boost circulation. There is no credit card required, you won't get a bill, and there is never an obligation to buy or pay for anything at any time. Also, your name and address will be only be shared with the publisher to ensure delivery of the magazine. Other than that, your name and email address will never leave our offices or be sold to other marketers.
Hey, it's a good thing
