The last free magazine offer I signed up for posted on here ended up sending me a bill for $1, payable by check or credit card only, with a lot of small print at the bottom saying that in one year I authorize them to bill me the $90 for the cost of magazine subscription renewal to the credit card or checking accout I use to pay the $1. There was of course, no obligation, and they would send me an invoice with a free 1-800 number to call and cancel anytime I want.

Hmmmmmmmm.......

I havent ever gotten any bills for free magazines. Obviously its a bad idea to pay that dollar then they charge you.

I signed up with the same website for the same deal about two years ago. I am still getting free Maxims and Stuff; I have never once even received a bill from them. On the other hand, a similar deal on TV Guide and Razor yielded hundreds of re-subscription mailings. This site has not been shady in my experience. I would use a junk e-mail address to control spam, but make sure it's legit so you can veridy the subscription. I was even able to gett of their list; however, by unsubscribing with the link in the e-mail; I still receive the mags. I hope this helps you to consider their offer. Peace.

Thanks!

To get the Stuff link to work I had to open a new window and click straight on the stuff link on the bottom of the page.

How do you get them to add these to your current subscriptions? Web site says one subscription per name or address?

In the past I signed up for Maxim, Stuff, Field and Stream, American Baby, Ski, Computer Shopper, and PC Magazine and I still receive each of them for free.

They don't really check. A deal here, a deal there... it all adds up.
