thx for the mag! I love CGW, they have great articles. My previous subscription ran out awhile ago, and I'll I have now is a digital copy using zinio reader, UGH!

Just got my copy. And it comes with a demo cd (Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within).
I just clicked the link (Firefox1.0) and it still works.

The april demo Game CD has Empire Earth, SWAT 4, AirStrike 2, and other demo games.

I just subscribed to the magazine. This is a two month old thread. I am wondering how they can afford to give away yearly subscriptions for this long.
 
This magazine blows chunks.. ESPECIALLY the hardware reviews. Read this month's issue where Darren, a senior editor, reviews the new BenQ FP71G+ and talks absolute trash about the monitor.. which he tested at 1024x768 and 800x600 (because it has a VGA connector and no DVI, so the resolution didn't automatically set for his tech-lame self). Rolling edges and jaggies.. I guess so if you're that far out of spec with the native resolution.

I'm a real gamer and hardware enthusiast, exactly their target audience.. and every issue is a complete waste of paper. The *only* thing I've gotten from them so far is the UT2K6 exclusive preview.. which was then available within a few weeks on every website. If I paid for this drivel, I'd be angry at myself.
