ok this is cool but here is the problem. After a domain expires NSI.com holds the domains and does not rerelease them! Example Segadc.com expired back in may! But if try to register it it tells you that it is not avail. but if you look at whois it expired back in may! Does anyone know how to registera domain that has expired????????

You just have to wait a couple months. I am a part time webmaster and the company I work for wanted their name changed from SWEAP.COM to Southwesteap.com. We quit paying sweap.com, and they sure enough did cut us off from DNS listing, but kept us in their database until about 3 weeks ago.

I guess you just have to wait. They don't want to keep a domain when they could be selling it, but I think they have some grace period policy on domains in case you forgot to pay or change your mind.

NSI is auctioning domains that expire now, they don't open them up for re-registration. It's dirty, take your business elsewhere, like dotster.
