I'm new to this forum, so I don't know if this has been posted already, but here goes:

At www.lumex.com you can request a free "Capability Box" or a box full of neat LEDs. Just go to the request catalog link on their main site, and it's down near the bottom of that page.

Ohh yeah, that's where most of my LEDs are going. How I see it, I can never have enough random LEDs on my computer. The package contains a couple different styles of 7-segment displays, varied color LEDs, some really bright arrays of LEDs, and some that are kindof pre packaged read to plug into something LEDs. There are even some surface mount ones that are way to small for me to try and solder. It's quite the collection.
 
IS anyone else getting 404s when you click on the other ie new products, home, etc link?

sweet we had this kit (I think) where I used to work. It had all kinds of cool shapes sizes and colors of LEDs in it
