I opened it up, it's basically a 'bulb' with two wires (leads?) coming out of it, one of them goes inbetween the casing and a 3v battery, the other inbetween that battery and another. Like this:

casing
3v batt.
wire------
3v batt. |bulb
wire------
casing

Maybe I can take it to Radio Shack. I may just need to replace the batteries, or the bulb.

I got mine the day after my last post in here. Works and is plenty bright, I kind of wish we'd been able to pick color though I can't really complain about the price.

Well it is free you know. It is bright. I have fun messing with people at work, since its so bright.

I received mine today. It's pretty bright and is small enough to be on my key chain without adding extra weight, etc.

Thanks!

Got mine a couple days ago. I've had one on my keychain for a couple years and no issues. This one goes on the g/f's

mine is clear, and doesnt work, i have a feeling the switch was left on during transit or something

Mine is clear and stopped working after a friend squeezed it too hard or something. I may try replacing parts to see if it can be fixed.

The batteries in mine died after ~2 hours usage. They use two CR2016 lithium 3V batteries sandwiched together.

Finally actually got one, and OH SH-- they're bright.

It also came with a little piece of paper saying thanks for ordering it and they're sorry they took so long to send out, they were ordered from over seas. :Q

Mine was blue

I used it on a camping trip the other week, and it performed just as well as the one of similar size I bought for $5
I'm satisfied with it, especially since it's free

And now it goes in my survival kit
