Baja Fresh rocks

I thought I had good burritos at Gordos and High-Tech Burrito, but Baja Fresh ownz them... expensive tho!

Yeah, Gordos is fine--cheap and tasty and big.

But Baja Fresh is way tastier and at least as big. But about $2 more per burrito.

As Baskin Robbins used to say about their french vanilla ice cream: "Costs a bit more,
but worth it."

Oh, and in case you didn't know, Baja Fresh is now owned by Wendy's. They bought
them a few months ago. (Just before they were going to go public).

Baja Fresh is so damn good...

But if you look at the nutrition facts on their website, you will be stunned! :Q:Q
They do have some stuff that's OK (like chicken tacos) but the cheese and sour cream on the burritos make them deadly!

just got back from taking advantadge of this coupon... worked like a charm... nice big plastic refillable cup...

I used to have a Dos Manos everytime but then I stumbled upon the nutrition facts one day... now I just stick to the Burrito Ultimo...

About the Burritos, I found them to be poor compared to Chipotle. The other stuff on the menu rocks! Taquitos, that sandwich, the quesadillas... etc

I have this arguement with co-workers regularly... I believe baja fresh is much better than chipotle

The problem with Chipotle is that they put the cheese on at the end. The cheese is cold, and it cools down the whole burrito. The secret to a great burrito is to put the cheese on *before* you put the tortilla in the tortilla press - that way, the cheese melts down on the tortilla before you even get started.

I wish I was in Boston right now, I'd head over to Anna's and remember what a burrito should taste like. In the meantime, I'll console myself with a free large drink at Baja Fresh. Good find!

Actually, Anna's is just a rip-off of Gordo's in San Francisco. In fact, the guy that started Anna's
is a cousin of the guy who own Gordo's. (He is also related to the woman who owns
Boca Grande in the Boston area--bad blood there because Anna's competes with Boco
Grande).

Anyway, IMHO, Anna's/Gordo's, while fine, are NO MATCH for Baja Fresh. No way, no how.

I could SWEAR that my housemates told me they got free ENTREES with purchase of a large drink. They got the coupons in the mail addressed to Resident, whoever that is (we keep getting his/her mail). Has anyone else gotten this?

Never been there? Get the Baja Burrito with STEAK.. if u don't like guacamole.. take it out... HOLY... and please take their salsa. I can eat their free salsa and just get full from it. It's THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD.. If they don't build one here in Santa Cruz soon, I'm gonna commit suicide.
