The AOL Virus Shield works fine once it is installed. It appears some machines have trouble installing it but I placed an easy fix for that a few posts up. Once it is installed it runs fine and only a very small percentage of computers(and most of them are Win2K machines like mine) ever have the installation trouble.
 
I keep trying to get keys for this program but several attempts and email addresses and nothing. I finally got a key from someone on here, but looking for two more... could someone help.
 
Jnetty99, something must be wrong with the site, I tried from 2 different computers on 2 different connections, using a variety of email addresses, and got nothing.
 
I thought maybe I had maxed out my requests for keys the past few days. I've requested 4-5 and have received 0. I reused an old one and it seemed to work ok.
 
The keys were being sent out a few days ago, but as of today it looks like they are having issues. Try again tomorrow. 🙂

Jnetty99 I PM'ed you two keys.
 
I've emailed (submitted) them twice in the past 36 hours to get a key. No key yet, so I can't use the program although I have downloaded it. It seems like the deal is dead.

The deal is not dead, but it appears that the Grinch hijacked the key generating server. :gift:

I have several keys, so if you guys would like one just send me a PM.

I had problems with my craptop BSODing at startup. After rebooting again it would work fine. I uninstalled Kaspersky and haven't had any more problems. My laptops pretty sketchy though. I think it suffered some heat damage, and it's hasn't been right for awhile. I kind of have the thing hacked together just so it'll work. I imagine most people won't have the issues I had.
