Right, ok...I was thinking that oh, this can't be real, f*ckin scam..but then, it's received so much good feedback on the net, that I'm not so skeptical anymore.

In essence, everyone signs up hoping for a free iPod, but maybe 1 in 10 or 15 end up getting one - and AOL profits off each of them while other, more ethical (but still unscrupulous) companies profit only off 90% of them.... Thanks for being truthful...

I'm referring to how they charge your CC# once they have it, no matter what you say... Want to contest it? You're going against a company which measures its customers using 8 digits in a country which bends the rules for large companies. Yeah, I know there are a few ATers who actually aren't in the US, but it's about 95%.

I'm referring to what my retarded parents went through when trying to cancel it, after I had recommended against it (not to mention the Compaq they bought) in the first place. I would never be stupid enough to sign up for that free ipods bullshit.
