I was just curious because of the Church of Latter-Day Saints at the bottom... (i dunno if theres a difference though in the actual bibles, what do i know, im jewish) 🙂
 
Anyone interested in some alternate bible sites please PM me. They list conradictions and other logical problems.

Edit, again: Let me clarify. I wasn't thread crapping and I wasn't attacking the poster. My links aren't just to all my fellow atheists. I think they would be useful to anyone who studies the bible or reads it. People should be informed about what they do no matter what it is.
 
All poohhairt doing is pointing out some free site that support his opinions. I don't agree with his opinion ad neither do some others, but some may. If we can post on our ideas so can he. At least he's not insulting the original poster.

I only wonder why the mods let such a readily available freebie keep coming up. just enter "fill form free bible" in google and you will get tons of them.
 
I won't be taking advantage of this deal, but hats off to the Mods for reaching a fair and sensible decision about religious-themed hot deals. 😀
 
Just so you know, I got a free Bible from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) a few years back (it was KJV, not Joseph Smith translation) and I got phone calls and mail nonstop from them for months afterward. Not Crapping, just wanted to let you all know what you may also get. Thanks for the post though!

This bible is from the MORMONS. It might be different from the accepted traditional bible: NIV, KING JAMES, etc..
 
Hey andaval, that's not how we do things around here. Not anymore, at least. Maybe if this was an anti-Microsoft thread or anti-mac thread or an anti-Kia thread, etc. Fine, flame away. But try to be a little overly sensitive about religious items, especially considering the last debacle that we had a week or two ago.
 
This version is as translated by the Mormans. Might say King James version but as translated by the Mormans. So if you wan't a real King James version this is not the one you want. It's free but there are some very radical differences in this version.

Could you put ther version in the Topic "Free Mormon Holy Bible", would save people like myself (looking for NIV) from using Anand's bandwidth.

Looks like some people might be trying for vacation time in here. I hope it happens so people will cut the thread crapping.

As someone who publicly expressed my concern with how this was ahndled in the past, I'll second that -- and now I'll bow out of any further discussions on this theme.
