Free HBO & Cinemax on DirectTV (preview weekend?)

I didn't remember seeing anything about a free HBO/Cinemax preview weekend, but I was flipping thru the channels tonight and all of the HBO and Cinemax channels were available.

You can subscribe to a directv email newsletter that lets you know about events in the next month. I've been using the directvtivo I picked up in september and have recorded my 35 hours worth of movies this weekend. I'm going to add the 50 gig WD hd that I got at bb for $50 after mir to double the recording time.
