Free Grolsch Swingtop Bottle opener

Thanks! I hope this comes as it will be a great reminder of all the swingtop bottles I opened during 7 years in Germany!
 
Awesome find, my friend and I were just actually talking about swingtop bottles last night...coincidences are funny things.
 
Used to buy Grolsch in the swingtop bottles way back when I was in the service. Nice momento for an old fart if it comes!
 
Cool, thanks. I'll keep this at work. I keep breaking the tops of bottles off when I smack them against the ice maker to remove the caps.
 
Haven't had Grolsch in awhile.

Swingtop? In Germany, where I had more than my share of local brau, we called these bottles "flippies." And the trick was to flip the cap off by striking it from the side with 2 or 3 fingers. Ow, that hurt when you hit it wrong! 😉 😉

I've still about 15 cases of the flippies in my basement - excellent for bottling homebrew.
