This smells funny, mostly because their Terms and Conditions are not a legal document in any shape or form. There's no listing of where these people are located, no physical address, no mailing address, just a slick-looking website with bits of shiny that change every 15 minutes. And a very limited whois entry.

I'd be wary of this one. Use a temporary card number if you can.

Amit Vora is the name that appeared on the register.com whois info for the domain. The address they gave is the same as the address for register.com's office in L.A. though. :/

it says retail price is 70 bucks, but truth of the matter is that this free item is very cheap. they probably get it in for a few dollars so the shipping itself will cover their cost of getting it in, so they're still making money. maybe not much...

I would be weary of this one, judging by the eBay feedback......

eBay feedback

If you look closely (esp. on 1st page) you'll notice some of the same people have posted multiple feedback like, in a matter of seconds, or a little more.

This makes me believe they knowingly inflated their eBay feedback.....

well they said u have to make separate orders, so the buyer might've just bought several auctions from him. but who knows, might be an accomplice..but they'd lose money for ebay's comission to do this

DiaGeminc's eBay page.

Well they aren't exactly a fly-by-night operation. 6 years on eBay, almost 59k auctions completed. The page specifically mentions this site. It seems legit; I think register.com's whois info was reporting their (register.com) address wrong.

Then again, it still seems a little weird. I'll wait until KillyKillyall gets his crap.

But still, it's the same thing on every page. Another example is click on the "Left for Others" tab. Then click on the Buyer "tbraun-half" and look at how many feedback this "diageminc" left for that user (they were all made within a matter of seconds, all of them). I dunno, maybe it's just me. But something definitely smells fishy.

probably because a handful of buyers won a bunch of items and gave feedback all at once, just copy pasting his previous comments. i've done that before. 59271 total positive feedback is a lot of BSing to do, assuming that they are BS.

I'm not saying all of it is BS, but still....

If you're like me and do your feedback in bursts, you'll make feedback pages look like this. eBay feedback can be done all at once on one "feedback" page, something like 35 feedbacks at a time. You fill out all the fields, then hit the "submit" button at the bottom.

If someone bought 3 items from them, paid at the same time, then used the feedback submit form to give feedback all at once it would explain why they have entries like that.

well yeah, if tbraun leaves x feedback to diageminc, then he has to leave the same amount back, each feedback corresponds to a unique acution and tbraun apparently won a bunch of his auctions. also notice the other auctions tbraun won for different sellers, they too left a bunch of feedback all at once, probably cuz the auctions was within the same time span and it'd be more efficient to simply leave all the feedbacks at once instead of having them pending.

unless you're claiming tbraun , diageminic, and all those other sellers leaving feedback on tbraun is networked together

anyways, i think this is legit
just looking at his history, it looks like its getting a good positive feedback %. and if you take away ll the tbraun's feedback, it'd still be a lot.

in the worst case u'll lose 5.99, but that's always a risk in ordering online. it's not the end of the world with that small amount. and doing the math, they are still profiting by charging 5.99 for shipping & handling. this is somethign ebay sellers do frequently...advertise their items for a low price but they really make the money when it comes to the shipping.

Yeah, but my 5.99 and your 5.99 plus a million others makes on helluva profit!
