Last card was an RTX2070, current card is an RTX3070...sadly, only 8GB though.Hey, now you gotta get yourself an RTX card soon.
Start searching!
A friend (not a competitive or insanely addictive gamer) says that the 3060 12GB is pretty acceptable for RT performance.
Yeah, I already own all three...plus Portal. It's not just HL2, it's episode 1 & 2 and a couple of extras too. Basically the entire Orange Box minus Portal.
Don't I wish...HL2 is my favorite game of all time. I still play it from time to time.HL3 must be incoming!
It's weird coz I missed HL1 so can't understand what's so special about it. Tried to play it but it seemed too primitive compared to HL2.Though personally I've always preferred Half-Life 1 to the sequel.
Ah. Then you are probably fine.Last card was an RTX2070, current card is an RTX3070...sadly, only 8GB though.
Try the "remake," Black Mesa. Graphics and game play is better even if it's panned as not being as good or detailed as the original. It's weird coz I missed HL1 so can't understand what's so special about it. Tried to play it but it seemed too primitive compared to HL2.
I think I tried it as soon as it came out. Still didn't have that "half life" feel that I got from HL2 (the sounds. the atmosphere etc,) and the lab setting just isn't for me. HL1 seems claustrophobic whereas HL2 is pretty varied in terms of environments (no idea about later levels of HL1).Try the "remake," Black Mesa. It's got some "out of doors" environments...and more. Is it as good as HL2? IMO, nope, not close...but playable if you're bored.I think I tried it as soon as it came out. IIRC, that’s what I paid for it a couple of years ago…
But it’s already mid-December.Sky Is Arrows (Exploration, Tactical, RPG, Real Time Tactics, 2D +) is free to keep when you get it before Nov 30 @ 12:00pm. This game is changing over to a $15 paid game on the first. Grab it while it's still free and it's yours to keep.
Sky Is Arrows: Pricing Update
Hello Sky Is Arrows Community,
There is some important news to share regarding the pricing of Sky Is Arrows. Starting in the new year January 1st 2025 Sky Is Arrows will be transitioning from a free-to-play model to a one-time purchase price of approximately $14.99.
Why the Change?
Although there was great exposure from the free version, not that many of DLC were purchased to support the free model. Having a base cost to the game is the best next step, the DLC prices will be lowered as well when this change takes effect.
What Does This Mean for Current Players?
Existing Players:
If you have already downloaded and installed Sky Is Arrows before the price change, you will not be charged. The game will remain in your library and you will continue to receive all future updates and base content for free.
New Players:
After the transition date, new players will need to purchase the game for $14.99.
Thank you for your understanding and for being a part of the Sky Is Arrows journey. Your feedback and support means the world!
Best regards,
Yale
