Agamemnon - This thread, as noted above, has been around since last year. Unless I'm am mistaken, it has the MOD's blessings.

Yep, since Nov or Dec 17th of 1999 this thread has been around. And the mod made a comment about it and he said since it is giving then he would let it go plug these threads have been going almost constant since then.

Tima and place for everything. I just don't understand how this is the place, since mods so strict on other stuff we used to do. (miss the 80 items I got from drugstore.com's referrals!).

You don't know me, you have no idea how much I give, but I don't do it, or talk about it, in inappropriate forums.

Actually, sir, this thread is appropriate. This is, in fact, a very very hot deal. A hot deal for those who will be fed because some person took the effort to click the little button.

Nobody said this forum had to be about deals that only benefit oneself. It's not called "Hot Deals For Me" after all.

 
Giving back to the unfortunate is always good. Since this thread has been here before, there is nothing wrong with it being started again.

This makes no sense, since the Hot Deals forum exists to give all members of the board a chance to get a hot deal. They don't allow referrals, since that only benefits one person. If no one on the board can benefit, it belongs in some off-topic thread.

According to your logic, why don't we just let people who say they will give 50% of their earnings to charity post all the referral crap they want? Use your head! Your heart belongs in an OT topic.
