AccessUseNet is a new news service provider, going online in mid May.
The first 7,500 people who fill out its survey will be offered their first 30 days FREE of charge access.
The catch is that I think you need to fill out the survey AND signup when they are ready in order to get the free 30-day access.
But anyhow, the survey is short.
Currently, the page has been visited 6748 times.

I'll check it out, tx :)

Which news service providers do you guys currently use? I'm using my ISP, Verizon, which bundles newsgroup access with its DSL plans. It's pretty nice, I'm always able to max out my download speeds (80+KB/s) and they have all the good binary newsgroups. The only thing that's lacking is their retention and completion, which is why I'm looking to pay for a provider to supplement Verizon.

$13.95 for unlimited service is not bad however. I use usenetserver for $14.95 per month

Thanks mralex, will give this a try. At least they don't ask for a CC number(as of yet), and then make you cancel after 30 days.

If their prices are good and the retention/speed are just as good, I might actually consider switching over :D

7126 now. The retention on my current server sucks (ISP), hopefully they will be better.
