talk about the pot calling the kettle black. If you dont like it dont order it. Ya'll are as bad as the hardcore christians telling me what I can or cannot read/watch/buy. If I wanna goto a strip club thats my right. If I wanna order this book its my right. We've already lost enuff rights since 9/11 as it is.

Ah, that's the quote that I've heard from the Bible. And it brings us to the crux of my thinkings. It's not something I've brought myself to ask a Christian yet, but now's a good time.

Are all the rest of us non-Christians damned because we don't follow Jesus' teachings?

Jesus said, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of Heaven." Sorry, I don't have the reference for that one off the top of my head. I hope that answers your question somewhat, though. I don't get some sick feeling of satisfaction by pointing my finger at people and saying they're going to Hell -- although that's a common stereotype about Christians. Maybe that means I'm not a Christian! I just believe what the Bible says, and try to follow its teachings. If you'd like to discuss anything further, feel free to PM me.

I'm sure people (not me though) turn to religon for answers but it isnt respectful to paste up chrstian propgranda over a national tragedy. If they do that then they should have a prayer to Shivia at the same time and every other religon represented in the tragedy. I swear we are going to get into a holy war with these d*mn chrstian fundamentalist groups we have in the US.

And if some Muslum orginiazation did something similar with the same idea they would be ridiculed by the media.
Well, it's a documented fact that the Saudi government has given several billion dollars in the last several years to spread the Muslim religion. The charities they gave the money to are the same ones that have been linked to the terrorists. I wonder if this was a way to spread their gospel? It certainly had the effect of increasing awareness of their religion. I'd think their method of promulgating their faith to be a little more abhorrent, don't you?
