Ya, you didn't waste your $$$...The CD comes with the non-commercial version of qt 3, which is unavaliable for download, and, The quality of the printed book is excellent in comparison to most paperbacks I've seen.

I find it sad the fact it's avaliable for download is just now getting out...it's been avaliable for a couple weeks now.

Many of the other books from the same series are avaliable for download, as well (See here). Don't forget to click on each book, and make sure there isn't a download for it even if it isn't listed as downloadable(case in point: the qt book)

Qt is a framework/GUI SDK that runs on almost all platforms (including embedded). It is free for non-commercial use.

The pdf is 21 megs in size... right-click and "save as"

You have to click on the book's title, then on the left hand pane of the resulting page look for 'Downloads' (in blue).
