Free Dynamic DNS?

Haven't used a service in years -- looks like DynDNS is charging now.
Who is the go-to for free DNS? I don't want to have to remember an IP to connect to my home services.

I've used FreeDNS (afraid.org) for some time. Supported by quite a few router(s) including PC based routers like pfsense.

I use no-ip too. Hassle free set up. Once in a while they will send u an email link to respond that you are not inactive, other than that it's all good.

Both namecheap and google give you dynamic dns with the yearly domain fee.
