There are still coupons available too,... not all original money has been used, lots of the money originally doled out in coupons were not actually used and once those coupons expire, they go back into the pot of money available,... many people got coupons just in case, or didn't actually need them once they got more informed, etc

I just received two coupons two weeks ago,.. and just used two coupons on this link!!!
This is not the best converter,.. but since I am trying to get two old (20 years +) tvs to still be useful,... this is great for the price,... I had seen some real nice ones for $20 after the coupon,.. however I like free better for these older tvs.

EDIT - The information that there is no more money for the program, that only a few got coupons, etc is all media driven and incorrect. Try getting the facts from the source,.. many coupons will not be used and will have money going back to the pot.

I got a coupon, but never found one cheap enough..wasn't about to spend $20 on top of the coupon for something I'd almost never use anyway. My coupon has since expired, so someone else will get one now.

As I got the coupons when they first offered them and had to get my boxes at Wal-Mart. The RCA brand ones. Think it was still......$20 plus tax for both. Lame.

I know some people who would still want to get a box at retail in case the box or remote breaks *rolls eyes* How often does that happen?

Got my coupon (2nd time I got one, but this time I actually went out and used it) and ordered the Lasonic LTA-260. It was rated pretty high in the Consumer Reports chart of DTV boxes.

My sister got hers yesterday. It's really nice. It's small & sleek. The remote feels nice. No channel buttons on the box though, but most don't. The menus are easy, the EPG works well. So this is a great box and it's free. Which upgrading to DTV should be free. So get two coupons and get two boxes. Don't need the extra box? Give it to someone who does. I tend to think that I will always have an old analog somewhere in the house lol.
