When are you doing the spell check? I think it only works while you are creating a new message.

Apparently doesn't work well enough to let you know that it's a lot and not alot

It's not perfect but it's free. And better than nothing. Apparently it has a problem when it comes to punctuation sometime. I put the link to close to the period.
