It's awesome! They give away their domain names. 😎

Hope you guys like this!

Go away, spammer!

Interesting first post.

Edit: It's $9.95 if you want access to DNS settings and such. For free, it looks like they just set it up to redirect to wherever you want.

Who wants a .tk domain anyway?

lol.

Yeah, I've used it lots of times. It only forwards the domain, they don't do the hosting. But then again, it's free so what do you expect? 😉

i just got a free domain from them, will let u know over the next 24 hours or so when its registered on the DNS servers on how it is!

the catch I think is if you get less than 25 hits in 90 days they sell your name at 9.95....

they are going after the new web n00b and not realizing some sites get no traffic.

Now that the n00b developed a name he wants to keep it so he has to buy it back....

That looks like the catch, but I didn't research it out.

Å

my understanding is they take it away from you if you don't get 25 hits in 90 days... but it's still free for anyone to register. I could be wrong though 😉

well, what i'll probably do is once i have the site up i'll just post a link to it on my signature in AT and i'm sure i'll hit 25 hits in 90 days 🙂

If you have to pay $9.95 to redirect a name you don't even own, and can lose...why don't you just go to godaddy.com and buy your own for $7.95???

Well, when your first post on the site is a link to some "special offer," people get suspicious. We don't know you, you could even work for this company signing up for forums all over and posting the link. And this deal is decidedly un-hot. You can get .com domain names for less than $10 a year, why would you want a .tk domain name, even if it is free (with restrictions)?

what I've done too is make an html page with a bunch of 1x1 IFRAMEs with your TK page as the SRC. 🙂

well they are probably calling those 25 hits 'unique' hits.

More than likely they are also selling unique hits to potential advertisers.
