As a reminder for people, if you have SBC DSL you already have access to FREE dial-up internet service with them.

If any of you live in washington state or new england, there is nocharge.com. totaly free!!!! not time limited! no nopups, no signup, no installer needed. just setup ther phone number and use the username guest and password is the password. there is a bunch of access numbers on the right http://www.nocharge.com/connect.htm depending on your long distance plan this may be good if your out of area.

Interesting. Is Juno free dialup still available? I used that for years, before I got DSL last year. But Verizon's service has been sooooo bad lately, I actually pulled out my analog modem and re-connected it last night. Looks like I may have to resort to Juno/NetZero for e-mail now, until Verizon gets a clue. (Unlikely - I give them 6-12 more months, before they start massively hemmoraging customers, if they continue along their current path of self-destruction.)
