I believe this was posted here before by amdxborg but I couldn't find it so I'm asking more team members to take part and configure your stats on the free-dc page, this will help our team DCR which is listed here.

Out of all the members on this team only 22 have added their stats which is a very low number. If you look here you will see that we are #2 in rank right behind free-dc who has about 68 members who have configured their stats. This is not hard to configure and amdxborg has explained how to do it here.

Come on team members get to work and add your stats and help the team out.

And while you're at it, please do support Bok and his major effort to keep the stats alive. As you can see on his site, the main cost for the server is paied by himself so far. If you have a couple of $ to spend for your "DC addiction," please consider donating to the Free-DC stats. I use them as a source for my daily Rosetta stats post for example.

:)

Hey, TASers (and others running WCG), I just got our WCG team added to Free-DC stats. So now our last project can count in the stats! :)

P.S. It seems there's also an entry for WCG Boinc. I found my entry there, and added it too. I just wonder if it's cheating to be listed twice?

Nice job Ken_g6, that helps our rank in DCR since our stats were never being counted.

Is anyone else having problems doing this?
I registered on the forums, but when i try to go to the statstool config it says i need to be logged into the forums. I am.
I've logged in & out of the forums about 3 times now (& cleared all Free-DC related cookies) & it still won't let me config

This is the message i'm getting:
It doesn't appear that you are logged in... Please log in to the Free-DC forum There seems to be a problem with your cookie. Please clear your cookies and revalidate.

How do you go from http://free-dc.org/forum/ to http://stats.free-dc.org/users/dcr.php with it knowing you're logged into the forum? aren't free-dc.org & stats.free-dc.org 2 different things?

Try checking the "Remember me?" box when logging to the forums. Then go to the stats site.
(I had the same problem and it seemed to do the trick)

Thanks mk, that did it... but i don't think i can use this :(
The only projects FreeDC tracks i'm on mini-teams & they're two different names due to each projects naming rules :(

The names don't matter. I have several names scattered around. All you need to do is enter the ID that the Free-DC stats site assigns to you for each project.

The only difficulty I can see is that they are miniteams, and you would be in total control of their stats. But if they don't mind... :)

OK, got it going now :)
I just did SoB for now since it's just me & my parents on that team. I'll see what the folders want to do.

Come on we could use some more members to add their stats, it doesn't take any cpu power to do this. Well, really just a little and your time.

OK, i ran into another problem. I created a stats page for our mini-team but F@H isn't showing up correctly.
This is what i put into the box on the setup page: TeAm_Deception.NetTeam+AnandTech

If you look at the stats page F@H shows zero output. Click on the 0.00 under "Score" for F@H & it takes you to the wrong place.
Instead of going to http://stats.free-dc.org/new/userstats....&name=TeAm_Deception.NetTeam+AnandTech it goes to http://stats.free-dc.org/new/userstats....ame=TeAm_Deception.NetTeam%2BAnandTech

Notice the %2B instead of a plus sign in TeAm AnandTech.
Anyone see something i'm missing?

Sorry, that's one of the small issues..

Take out the + from the id, that's just HTML formatting as it does not allow a space....

Any more issues feel free to email/PM me..

Assimilator1
Here's a brief explaination of teh DCR stats i found on the Free-DC forum.
This is actually fairly similar to my calculation for the Teams DCR except that I only use the combined score of all the teams within the DCR within a project (though this is most of them anyway..)

So for each project I use

Score = ((team score) / (total score of all teams in DCR in project)) * number of participating teams in project.

Added myself :) ....... I think.
Couldn't add myself to SETI2 as we're not in the top 10 teams ,unless theirs a link elsewhere?

I see ya! :) But you're not listed in SETI1 yet.

You would be "Assimilator1__-_Team_AnandTech" - replace each "_" with a space. Note the two spaces before the "-".

End of the year update, TeAm. I come bearing disturbing news.

First of all, it seems that team DCR ranks are independent of individual DCR ranks. So all that joining helped your rank, but not the TeAm rank.

Second, Bok has recently changed the Team DCR ranks, and Anandtech is now #4. :(

So, I decided to make a list of the BOINC projects we can contribute to that would be most effective in raising our rank. There may be non-BOINC projects that are better, but these I can easily compare.

And now...The number one BOINC project for increasing the TeAm's DCR score...Pirates@Home!!!!

(crickets chirping)

OK, so that won't work. Moving on to the number two project...NanoHive@Home!!!

Hm...That project doesn't have work now, and I bet once it does its rank will go down.

OK, #3: Renderfarm@Home

Well, that one's slightly plausible, but right now, Results ready to send = 0.

OK, #4: BURP

Hm...That might work - I'm not sure. I sure hope so, because #5 is VTU@HOME, a complete waste of computing time (IMHO).

Here's the rest of the top 20, for those interested:

Pirates@Home: 0.03796 DCR points per Cobblestone
NanoHive@Home: 0.03279 DCR points per Cobblestone
Renderfarm@Home: 0.02772 DCR points per Cobblestone
BURP: 0.01549 DCR points per Cobblestone
VTU@HOME: 0.01081 DCR points per Cobblestone
ABC@Home: 0.00891 DCR points per Cobblestone
Neuron@Home: 0.00571 DCR points per Cobblestone
Docking@Home: 0.00438 DCR points per Cobblestone
Boinc Alpha Test: 0.00369 DCR points per Cobblestone
Proteins@Home: 0.00367 DCR points per Cobblestone
Hashclash: 0.00282 DCR points per Cobblestone
Rectilinear Crossing: 0.00217 DCR points per Cobblestone
Ralph: 0.00134 DCR points per Cobblestone
XtremeLab: 0.00132 DCR points per Cobblestone
Spinhenge@Home: 0.00105 DCR points per Cobblestone
RieselSieve BOINC: 0.00104 DCR points per Cobblestone
