Maybe it's been done to death, but now that I've got one, what the hell do I do with it?

It would be nice if someone does a CD/DVD database that will allow me to barcode scan them in.

It's amazing to me that they spent so much money on this thing but there is absolutely nothing that supports it. Oh joy, scanning in RadioShack catalog codes. What fun!

WiRED sent me a free CueCat jobbie and I messed around with it. It actualls has some stuff in their DB in reference to magazines and what not. And if a code isnt in the DB, you provide info on it and they'll probably add it. The idea is to get everyone to use one (hence it being free) and have them just scan things to death and then they get a massive DB. IF that actually occurs, it'll be a novel thing to have around.

Now that TV thing, that's just worthless.
