Free Credit Report...for Eastern States

Finally starting today all Eastern States gets a free credit report.

Edit: i removed the link.. just go the ftc.gov website and get the link from there.
I sent the original link around at work and got several hate mails on how at the end they asked you for 5.95$ must have been the wrong link.

ftc.gov link

ok...wtf. If I click your link, I get Paypal's site. If I fix it to just say https://, I get Paypal. If I do normal http://, I get Microsoft.com??!?

😕

sorry,,, i put the correct link but it kept adding an extra http for some reason, i fixed it now.

thanks - it doesn't seem to include FICO / credit score for free though... it just has my credit history in detail.

Yes no Fico, but its better than paying for a report.

Edit: its also good because you get to see all three credit reporting agency reports.
I only seen my experian report.

Heh. I've been waiting so long for it to roll around to the East that I forgot about it. Thanks for the FYI!

I don't understand... they must be doing something wrong. They ask you for money if you want your FICO score in addition. Otherwise, the credit report is free. Your originally linked site actually transferred me to equifax' site showing $0.00 and ready to go.

Sweet, thanks for the link. All my history was on TransUnion. Im still in debt but hopefully I will be ok in two years since most of the bad remarks will be removed by then.

all three report s are free.. the trick is to get one of the three every few months, so that you can always get the most up to date report every few months, then start over when the new year rolls around

So then if you have an incorrect one now, you will let it be incorrect for 6 months without knowing about it instead of correcting it now?

That's like saying you check all 3 and they're correct, then they made a mistake a month later without you knowing about it, are you going to wait 11 months to fix it? 😀

I did find a mistake with Equifax's report with my former address, I submitted a fix, and hopefully in a few months when I pull up experian, there won't be any mistakes.
