Sprint Frame Relay is offering a free Cisco 2620 router and one free year of CPE maintenance (with a two-year agreement and purchase of a T-1 port).

Probably not useful to most, but if you need a FR connection, this might save you a few $$$.

A frame relay local loop may only cost 200 (probably closer to 500 if you have a decent CIR and the frame cloud is not over-subscribed) from your telco, but I guarantee you that in order to actually move data to/from the Internet you will require a port and that will more likely cost you around $1800-2K/month.

Thanks for the deal. I went ahead and signed up. I'm looking to move so I will need a new bandwidth provider anyway. Sprint deserves a shot.

using ixnet... (globalcrossing) now, am thinking to switch to someone else as they tend to screw things up for me.

was talking to some lady at XO communications (nyc, HOT!) and now i will throw in the extra freebie request and see if she will give that to me without the 2 year contract.
