I saw this coming so I tried to divert everyone's attention with a little bit of humor. Didn't work 😕

Actually, I wished I recorded the laugh I let out when I read your little blurb!

Won't anyone lock this damn thing already? Can't we have just ONE religion-related topic without someone taking it too far? Where did that abortion comment come from? That's probably the most random, flame-attractive comment I've seen in a long time. Stuff like that doesn't belong in here.

I did think those comics were ridiculously funny though. And I'm Catholic!

If someone posted a hot deal on hard drives we would discuss the merits of various models, no? A discussion of the product and its manufacturer (christianity) is to be expected. Honestly, what did you expect?

Hell, dummy, it's not even that, in this case.

Forget discussing the merits of christianity, the post is commenting on the merits of these laughable comics.

For some reason, christians seem fine letting these most out-there and fanatical christian elements, as represented by those online comic strips, being what publicly represents them. I'd have a problem with that, myself.

And dimwit, you miss the point. At least, what I'd consider a possible point. It's not like alcohol (and other intoxicants) are defacto bad, it's that letting them control your life, using them in a way that is not moderate and centered, is bad. Of course, the comic in question may say even the slightest mention is bad, and I'd disagree with that, but anyway.

<< hey hkssupra69....dont let the dregs of humanity get you down. You have to remember, some people enjoy attacking what they dont understand. >>

Good one. Don't forget "God works in mysterious ways" and "You cannot possibly explain everything God does because you are not God." These are the classic lines they teach you in Sunday school when something doesn't make sense. ...and most Christians are pretty happy with these copout explanations.

And I especially love how hkssupra69 tells people to read the forum rules on appropriate posting etiquette yet he breaks them in the process of playing "AT cop." Then when someone points this out to him, he breaks them AGAIN. Talk about hypocrisy....not that we see that anywhere in particular... at least I'm not claiming to be strictly on topic, but merely following the precedent of "on-topicness" set by others before me.
