hmm, not price for a 1 or 2 year sub, not even the option to sign up for it. Website is very incomplete, looks like they are rushing into this a bit to fast, but whats free is free :) Hope it turns out alright for them, its a very broad topic that many people are interested in.

Kinda an expensive way to test a market but hey, whatever works for them.

Yeah, considering that a big portion of the casemodders are on Anandtech, I doubt they're gonna be turning a profit very soon w/ free issues.

I am sure they have some deals with the publisher to get a good deal on publishing their first issue. Besides, a huge part of their profit comes from advertising. Advertisers are not attracted to a mag unless it has a huge amount of subscribers. So what we are doing is technically helping them. I have seen a lot of mags come and go. 9 out of 10 times is because they don't attract enough advertisers, not because they don't have enough paying subscribers.

AHAHAHAHA you've got to be kidding, right? you think the weak modding skills that AT puts out is a big portion of the community of case modders?

Try not even part of the case modding community. Half the time AT and/or its "modding" is conisdered a joke on other forums......

Thanks!

Haven't done any modding myself, but I can really appreciate some of the nice mods I've seen on web sites. My favorite was the one that used the mobo under a "water feature" of cascading water. Close runner ups from the "Lego" cases....

Looking forward to seeing the debut issue!

:)
