I wonder how they work the 'free points' into the deal. I mean if you sign up with one of the websites, it doesn't reflect on the yourfreecamera.com page status bar.

Hmm..

More info, hehe.

Suntone 35 (Film: 135)

This is my cheapest camera, nay this is THE cheapest camera ever. A free promotional camera I suspect. This tiny 35mm camera weighs less than an ounce. The parts are cheaply formed from second-hand plastic and assembled together in a shoddy fashion. This camera is so cheap that I cannot waste another word on it in good conscience.

thx jokesmoke

edit: intersting thing of note. It has a hot-shoe for a flash-attachment....kinda unusual for cameras like these to support extenal flashes...

Bad idea? Domain created by Jose on 2/11/01. Seems like a great way to collect personal info, though.

They say you can get the camera instantly by signing up for a few services. Some of them are credit cards, the others are phone services.

It's not worth signing up for either of those just to get a crappy camera.

As for the other "free member services" it just seems like a hassel to get registered for all those just for a camera.

Just my two cents. It honestly looks like a scam to me. All those click thrus, the crappy camera with the name brand that doesn't exist. Be careful with this one.

Gusfo0, that article is hilarious. I don't know how many times he emphasized the word "cheap". :D

Thanks - Jokersmoker

Yes it does, but it has no integral flash.
Manual film winding.
I think maybe a cheap Vivitar, Kodak, etc. that uses batteries and has a built-in flash might be an investment that you would be happier with in the long run.

Let's see.... is there anyone I dislike enough to give this camera to? Probably has a plastic lens, the film processing costs more than the device retails for, any fool who acutally uses it will waste a lot of money on film and processing and I will be rewarded by being SPAMed to death, called night and day by people who want money, and finding my mail box filled with junk mail.

I wonder where you can buy a device to burn junk mail in order to keep your house warm? We can use such things as the Yellow Page books by the #2 company we all throw away, grocery ads, Visa/Mastecard "Pre-Approved" offerings, and Ed McMahon. One could go out of their way to get on mailing lists to be sure of a good supply of fuel to keep the house warm all winter.
