Linkafied!

This calender is for 2001. Order soon for maximum use. The notecards are pretty nice. you can even order for friends.

While you're there, consider a donation. It's one of the few environmental groups that puts their money where their mouth is!

Ditto what Liz said -- if you are going to donate to any environmental organization, donate to TNC or to the World Wildlife Fund. Their money is well spent, and it's only $20 -- eat in next weekend instead of going out somewhere. 🙂

Hurry, they're down to their last 400 million in left wing mischief money. I'm getting on their sucker list right now. I need a calendar!

highwire: You're a fscking ignorant moron, aren't you?

One fringe benefit about putting yourself on these mailing lists is that you will start to receive return address labels on a regular basis. I usually receive a page or two from World Wildlife Fund every quarter or so. National Wildlife Federation also sends me some as do a couple others (Defenders of Wildlife, I think). I only give to a handful of them on a yearly basis, but they keep sending stuff all the time.

Unlike many environmental groups that would like to tell YOU what YOU can or cannot do one YOUR own land, TNC is different in that they take donations and use that money to BUY land that they feel is important. This land is then generally available for anyone to use for hiking, birdwatching, hunting, etc. Often they'll team up with a state's department of natural resources to combine resources to protect land.
