Wasn't there some scandle about the rebate company? It was the same company as Tiger Direct, but seperate so that TD could throw all the rebate problems onto said company....or at least thats how I remember it.

yeah would be a good deal if it wasn't tiger.... I get about a third of my rebates back from them.

guess tiger direct's foul smelling rebate policy is hurting them. i wonder if anyone's ever used the rebate guarantee to claim a rebate they never got.

2. Submit the rebate via Postal Service: "Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested" by the required postmark date to the address on the rebate form.

LOL... OK, so u gotta spend an extra $4.25 ($2.40 + $1.85) on Certified + Return Receipt. Oh, what a pain 🙂

I've gotten every rebate that I've submitted, but I've had to fight for a few and none through rebatestatus ever come in under 12 weeks (even though they say they mail out in 6 to 8). I had one Umax one come in so late that I no longer owned the scanner, and thought it was a class action suit settlement at first (the scanner was crap). We're talking 9 months here. The worst was the Seagate one where rebatestatus flat out lied to the BBB.

To be honest, I don't even remember when I sent rebates in, and to who. They could be cheating me out of all of them!!!

Had horrible experience with Tiger and rebate company OnRebate. Tiger tried to steal merchandise back after it was delivered by telling UPS I cancneled my order. Only way I got rebate was letter to BBB
