CA's well-regarded, but I have been using Avast for years with no problems. Anyone have data on why I should switch to CA?

i used to work at ca and every computer was required to run etrust. made my computer slow as heck.. i have to constantly turn it off to do anything intense. but that is just my personal experience. not sure what other peoples' are
