Free CA Anti-Virus PLus CA Anti-Spyware 2009 1-User

Corporate purchased enterprise edition because it was cheaper than McAfee et. others. CA "E-trust - Inoculate" not as good as Kaspersky/McAfee in my opinion.

Wait for the deals on Taxcut/Turbotax for MIR free on Symantec/McAfee/Kaspersky in January.

P.S. Some of the MIR deals are for 1-3 user license packages if you have more desktop/laptop or 2 desktops etc.

From my experience, CA is awful. I've never seen an Antivirus program that slows a computer down more than CA - even the old bloated Norton was better. We just switched to Kaspersky at work after everyone started experiencing the same problems with CA that I did..

+1... CA is not one of the best solutions out there. You get what you pay for with this deal. Of course, Nod32 was 9.99 (still is?) so I would spring for that instead. Or find Norton 2009 on sale (it happens), NIS09 is an AMAZING application, Symantec has really done a great job with it IMO.

If you have Comcast cable, you can get McAfee Security Center for free. It is a very good product - using it on 5 computers (you can install on up to 5 computers) and it's great - no slow downs and it has caught several trojans on USB sticks. I would imagine that other high speed internet providers also provide free anti-virus.
