Free Boat

So it appears that if anyone lives in the Salt Lake City area, they can pick up this sweet dinghy for free and it's fully loaded with tons of "extras"!

First of all I am blown away at the over 30 emails I have recieved in the 3 hours or so I have had this posted. I'm sorry I can not dedicate my day to answering emails about the stupid boat I just want to go away. However most of you people emailing me have got to be kidding me. No I don't know what it's made out of, probably boat material if I were to guess. No I don't have a title to the ABANDONED boat. No I'm not going to "hold" it for you til such and such day I've technically been "holding" it for years, it's first come first serve. If you live in Spanish Fork than maybe it's not a good idea to drive all the way to Park City to look at the jalopy. I don't know the size of the hitch. I don't know if it runs because it's not mine and it is ABANDONED. I thought my ad was pretty clear and maybe a little comical, but if I would have known I was about to open the floodgates of stupidity I would have never posted the ad. I mean look at the picture people and READ!

PLAIN AND SIMPLE:

ITS A FREE BOAT DONT EXPECT MUCH MORE THAN THAT!

Thanks,

Free boat guy

Update April 28th 7:45pm:
Someone came to try to take the boat (in a suit w/ loafers, not recommended boat removal attire). He obviously didn't read the ad or look at the picture. The boat is in a tricky spot and requires at least one friend or acquaintance to move. This guy also removed one of the tires which is now sitting inside the boat. So if you plan on coming by to get it please note that you will need to bring your own 5 hole wheel or somehow make the flat one inside the boat work.

Update April 28th 9:30pm:
Another attempt was made with no success. You need to bring a vehicle capable of towing a boat, not a Hyundai. I've also received my first hate e-mail.

Update April 29th 9:30am:
Boat is still there. I can't think of a nicer day to get a free boat, don't let this chance of a lifetime pass you by!

LMAO!!!

Sadly, so much fewer great posts like this on CL these days.

Here's my favorite update:
