I remember when jack in the box got nailed for using dog in their hamburgers. that was about 10 years ago when I lived in Bakersfield. One innovative thing I do remember about jack in the box is the all-in-one topping jar. They would mix the ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise into one big jar, and you would just need one squirt on your burger to get all three toppings.

I remember it too, but it wasn't in Bakersfield, it was in Barkersfield.

 
Jack in the Box was busted in the eighties for using Roo meat and had an ecoli breakout that killed a bunch of people in the nintey's. I remember them both quite well in the evening news reports.

More than 600 people got sick in January 1993 from eating undercooked Jack in the Box hamburgers contaminated with E. coli, a bacterium that can cause diarrhea, abdominal pain and, in severe cases, kidney failure and even death. Most of the victims were children living in Washington state; four of them died.

There is NOT a free Big Mac coupon!!

This is an internet joke that has been going around for years. Somebody simply took graphics from McDonalds, created a legit looking coupon, and started sending it around the internet. When the expiration date hits, they simply photoshop the date to something new and here it goes again. Please let this go...

they never used dog meat. they got busted for e.coli contaminated meat. that's it. stop propogating urban legends.

You know, wouldn't you rather eat dog meat then die from e. coli poisoning? I mean...think about it...

And some people didn't die, they just got permanently disabled from e. coli poisoning because their kidneys died or liver or whatever it was that the e. coli killed off...ah joy. It's a lifelong problem...

So all in all, I would like to proclaim that the urban legend about dog food is only doing Jack in the Box a favor because eating dog meat is better than "permanently injured your customers"
 
Not only has the size of the bigmac shrunk, the size of the so called Mcvalued fires also shrunk. At first the mcvalue fries were regular medium sized fries, but it has now shrunk to the size of small. I got fast food last wed... 🙁 so sad how i can't fill my stomach even when im spending $5

The place I eat at every once and a while have eomployees that would fall for this without a doubt. The reason they started taking CC's is so that McD's would stop losing the money out of the drawers when the cashiers can't make change for a $5.
