Free Bhagavad-Gita, Buddhist Rosary

this book has been thoroughly read and loved by many romantics and passifists such as thoreau, ghandi (spelling), and martin luther king... check it out

Cool, another free religious text, that makes three i've requested so far.
I doubt I'll actually sit down and read it through, but one day I might.

Thx

Great. Truly universal. No where in the whole book does it refer to
any one religion, nor does it express a monopoly on God or the almighty spirit.

Free - open your mind and inquire.

VRoOMdesigns - bwahahahaha Easily Amused? or Intellectually Challenged?

db - Ah, what a bunch of free whores!

Read the website, it states -
"Knowledge was not sold nor freely taken." etc.

As far as the whores comments - What the Gita offers does not require missionaries or 'selling' through religious conversion.

Methinks the comment is misdirected.

<< doh! and to think I spend $20 on one of these from a Hare Krishna >>

what exactly are hare krishnas? the ones i've seen look like stoned whiteboys and all they say is hare krishna over and over again to the sound of a tamborine.

<< VRoOMdesigns - bwahahahaha Easily Amused? or Intellectually Challenged? >>

I'd have to go with "Easily Amused."

Feeling a bit antagonistic, are we? This post is obviously poking fun at the fact that the religious deals were banned for a bit, and I personally thought it was hilarious. Get a sense of humor you shissy.

🙂

Milkyman, ROFL.

This is one of the deepest writings in history, and is in a way advice for a conscious entity (called Arjuna in this story) in relating to the universe as granted by a param mukta (Krishna). I think it was written by Vyasa, a Hindu sage, and the Bhagavad Gita itself is part of a much longer story about the extremely ancient history of India. I think, if you're getting it to read just as a story, you'll wind up extremely bored, as it's mostly a conversation between two people.

I'll repeat my advice yet again. Don't bother with the free religious texts. Try to get more decent versions from an academic source. You'll save yourself time and hassle.

I should offer up the Stark Fist of Redemption for free, that would open some eyes, but then again that would go against all the teachings of Bob.

Cash only, all others piss off.

Krishna is the name of a God whose advice to Arjun in Mahabharata(A mytho epic) is Bhagavad Gita. "Hare Krishna" is a chant to pray for Krishna. Try visiting ISKON once. You will enjoy the dancing, chanting and free food. I just went once to see how it is and was very very impressed.

Not to sound like a bad boy - Hot white chicks in sarees ....wow
