OfficeMax has a Belkin 11-piece tool kit (10 - 4 IR - 6 MIR), an RCA universal remote control (15 - 5 IR - 10 MIR), and some other stuff for free after IR & MIR.

True, several months ago OM had a Belkin NIC for free after MIR and it did take quite a while to get the check. The check did come eventually though.

agree... had a belkin rebate on a router... took almost 6 months to get the rebate... unlike BB rebates and a lot of others.

Anyone bought the RCA Remote? I can't find the rebate coupon in the rebate booklet, anyone has any luck?

At my local OM, there was a separate photocopy of the RCA rebate inside the regular rebate booklet.

The V.92 modem for free, after rebate, is a great deal, too. Upgrade the old one in your box, so that your equipment is current.

It's only a good idea to upgrade to a POS winmodem if the modem you have in your system is a POS too. If you have a hardware modem that just happens to be a slightly older model, you'd most likey be better off just sticking with that.

I used to agree with you, but with machines as fast as they are today I have to disagree. I bought this modem at Fry's when it was free AR. It works great. I connects at a faster speed and has a much more reliable connection than my on ActionTec hardware modem. I just leave it connected all the time and I get a drop maybe once every couple of days.

Thanks Feralkid. No photo copy in the booklet they gave me, will have to head back in tomorrow.
