Bee pollen supposedly helps you build immunities against allergies to certain pollens. However, I've heard that you should use local pollens so that you can build immunities to pollens that you might actually be allergic to. I would imagine that any local pollen source will work, bees are just a good source for pollen. You steal it from them with gadgets that scrape their legs when they enter their hives. It doesn't taste too bad either... kind'a sweet.
