New Egg has the beautuful (may be gaudy for some folks) red case free after MIR ($15.99 Shipping). I just ordered one. Only 2 user reviews - decent. Did not check for any other reviews on the web. I feel you can't go wrong with an ALuminium case for $15.99!

Edit: Should have mentioned earlier that the price before MIR is $90 & becoomes free after a $90 rebate. I hope I get me rebate too!

Hmm....I hate rebates......I would jump on this if I knew for sure that I would get the rebate....I know Newggis good with them and all.....I just get a funny feeling with this one......
 
DO NOT buy this case...it funds terrorism...The Cobra Commander himself said that this was streaming funds into their war chest...with that said you will not get your rebate because it goes directly to the development of new B.A.T.S.

$90 rebate worries me tho, I'll usually jump for $20-$30 at the most when it comes to a mail-in rebate.
 
Wow... I'd love to buy this and quietly replace my understated Sonata II just for the rise it would get out of my wife... It's fugly beyond imagining but I'm not sure I'm willing to risk $90 on the gag. Thanks for sharing OP!
 
Geeks (and couple other places) have these for around $50 or so, for those who don't want to deal with rebates. $90 MIR is kinda steep.
