Free Basic Cable if you have Cox Broadband in some areas

They inherited Media General's mess, but really haven't done much to "fix" it past the HFC conversion. I figure they think it's easier to lay new cable than fix the existing equipment.

When I got cable internet, the cable guy said he had to put in a filter until i 'tipped' him $20... free cable for a couple years now :)

Yeah, I'm in Fairfax County too and Cox cable sucks over here

I am here in San Diego county and ever since I had my high speed internet setup, I got their full premium cable for free, not sure if they forgot to put a filter or it just comes like that
