Cheapest shipping for me is 6.99, and that's assuming the rebate goes through. Deal breaker for me because I rarely expect rebates to go through anyways. But if it does that could be a pretty cheap backpack for those w/ cheaper shipping.

To be honest a $25 backpack isn't too impressive.
But if you are near Fry's sometimes they have a $4.99 backpack on sale by Meritine, either in red or blue.
The Samsonite laptop backpacks sometimes run $30 and are pretty good deals IMO.

Fugly.

I'll stay close to my green Jansport backpack that I've been using for 8 years with no rips or anything.

Uh...so you aren't impressed with a $25 backpack, but you are with ones that cost $4.99, and $30.00?

Wow, $9 for UPS ground shipping? That seems a little steep. However, this backpack is selling from $30-$55 from other online retailers. So in the end it's still quite a steal.

What I meant is that most of those backpacks are of pretty poor quality so if you are spending $25 on a poor one you might as well spend $5 and get a cheap one or pay a little more for a quality one.

My brand of choice for luggage however starts with a "T" and ends with an "i".

LOL
You're having a little trouble with the rebate concept, aren't you?
