Free "Roast Burger" at Arby's with Drink Purchase:

We've built something entirely new with Arby's signature thinly sliced, oven roasted beef. The Bacon Cheddar Roastburger piles it high then adds pepper bacon, a slice of cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, ripe tomato, and onions on a brand new toasted, specialty roll. Never fried, never greasy, it's the burger done better!

I haven't tried one of these yet, but there's not much wrong with cheap food.

(Wasn't sure if this should go here or in free, since it's not exactly free.)

Husband and I had the bacon ones for lunch yesterday. Both of us liked them and thought, for the price, they were especially tasty. 🙂 Reg. price where we were was $3.79 each. Thanks again OP!

tried one yesterday, was ok not a huge amount of meat, manager was great gave me a card buy 3 (2 more) get one free, Also if you go online put your code in and you also can get another free one.............
Good Deal TKS OP

Arby's actually has some healthier choices on the menu, calorie-wise at least, which can't be said for all fast food restaurants. Actually, so does McDonalds, which is funny because they tend to catch the most grief for it.

I've been limiting my calories for a few months now and manage to get McD's breakfast probably 4-5x a week. Usually an egg mcmuffin. Arby's for lunch is usually doable, a grilled chicken bacon swiss, but without whatever sauce they put on it. I'm convinced that if you just ditch the mayo-based sauces and the fries, fast food is a decent option if you're counting calories.

The chicken bacon and swiss "sauce" you're missing out on is honey mustard. And that's the best part of the sandwich if you ask me.

I had one for lunch and one for dinner. Both times got the cheddar bacon one. Pretty tasty. Lunch sandwich had some really delicious bacon. Dinner sandwich bacon was merely acceptable, but the chick who started taking my order was HOT! Too bad she couldn't figure out how to do a coupon and the manager had to take over.

Thanks again, OP.

heh, looks like your arby's trip paid off with the free burger or without it 🙂
I guess I will try my luck tomorrow.

Used it today. Pretty tasty sandwich. Really wasn't enough to fill me up, but + some soup and I was good.

Really good for the $1.60 I paid.

Tried the "Bacon Bleu" one the other day. Not bad. I noticed they sprinkled some kind of spice on the sandwich, anyone know exactly what it is? It seems to really have a great flavor, whatever is in it.

I got a bacon cheddar roast burger today. Got a regular drink and small curly fries too. Total was $4.25 or so.

The "burger" was meh. Tasted OK, but certainly not worth the normal $3.99. Would be better served hot, mine was just barely warm.
I wish I knew it came with mayo because I would have asked for it without. It was LOADED with mayo. I was able to scrape the top of it off with a curly fry but the bottom was mixed in with the lettuce, and I didn't want to have to get rid of all the lettuce.

Heh, its referred to as the "char-grill seasoning" in an advertisement I have here. I noticed it too, and it was delicious! I had the bacon cheddar (yes, real cheddar, not american yw crap) the other night and really liked it....but I'm a cheapskate and still don't think its worth the $3.49 pricetag here. Looking over the rest of the menu does show it to be a decently priced item for Arbys, many of their other sandwiches and subs did cost more.

Well I work at an arby's, and we are instructed to tell customers when they ask what it is to say "it is a secret spice." Even if we were allowed to tell them what it was, we couldn't, because they won't even tell the employees. I'm not sure if the managers know what exactly it is either.

Have any of you tried the All American? I think its the best one. It tastes similar to a whoper from Burger King.

The problem with this "burger" is that it has Arby's Roast Beef on it. More than enough to ruin any decent flavor that any other ingredient might contribute.

There was quite a bit of the seasoning spilled in the bottom of my box, so I gave it a thorough analysis (meaning I tasted it), and it seems to be something to make it taste more like a burger as opposed to a roast beef sandwich, sort of a "grilled" flavor if you get my meaning.

I got the Bacon Cheddar, much better than I expected. They skimp a little on the bacon, but I'm not surprised at that. The bun in particular was a lot better than I thought it would be.
