You can probably email/call them and ask that they change the purchase date on your existing order.

I gotta pass on these since I'm leaving for vacation on Friday... paying for faster shipping kills the deal and I'm too far away to get them in time.

I would have gotten some of the FAR items, plus I think the 850W PSU for $55 AR.

I do worry sometimes about Cooler Master... they're popping off cheap-to-free rebate items like it was the end of the world. My worry is... if it is the end of Cooler Master... got a lot of money tied up in their rebates right now.

Man, I'm still looking at those PSUs (especially the 850W), but faster shipping... $50 for 2nd day air! $30-35 for 3 day select. Grrr. Ground will never make it here in time.

With SVC that may have been possible, I've had a recent bad experience with a simple problem like this. All I'm going to say is Fry's sucks, you earned your reseller rating from me. Nonetheless I figured it's probably easier just to re-order.

Yeah, it came to about $10 after tax/shipping/Rebate. It looks like the PSU only has about 70% efficiently but....Ill use it as a backup PSU in case one dies. Couldnt resist.

they also have a asutek water cooling setup for $99... has chipset, cpu, and gpu water blocks... seems like a heck of a deal... throw in another 120mm radiator and it would seem like a great starter wc setup...

the CM 850 is a pretty decent PSU, very quiet, long cables
Same topology as 1KW
voltage/ripple/heat get a little shaky at the very top end of wattage, which most will never see.

The 1000W is $129 after rebate, the 850 is $54 - those are absolute steal prices
If they were modular, I'd jump on both, even as a backup with the 850
There is a 1000W ESBA modular, but only seems avail in Europe
SVC is the best, but second party rebates - who knows.

Looks like the 500, 550, & 600W are basicly the same unit.

I think the OPs 550W for $35 + shipping and $35 rebate is a steal for what your getting. There is no doubt you can get a better PS, but not for $8-10 dollars!!

EDIT: I'm trying not to buy one since I have a 600W in the box still from the last deal .

FYI, SVC is pro-actively calling people that ordered the 550-watt to let them know the rebate was not valid until the 16th.

FYI, Coolermaster is blowing out all of their older, non-80Plus PSUs. Other than that, they are decent quality units, but only around 70% efficient. The fan also isn't thermally controlled and is always audible.

The newer units are excellent quality and have been reviewed at many sites as such.

Personally, I think Coolermaster has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many products out there and needs to consolidate them. I also think they're going for market share right now, which is why there are so many rebates, even for pretty current products. Don't be surprised if the rebates dry up and/or are significantly smaller next quarter.

My experience with the rebates is that they get paid pretty rapidly. Just make sure you keep copies because they are getting hammered right now. Especially if you participate in the limit of 3 on some things as they ofter just process 1. :roll:

Umm, OOS and +$4.99 shipping at Newegg.

The first item is what costs you in shipping just about anywhere. Adding a second is often as little as 1/4 the first item's shipping cost.

BTW, I notice Newegg finally got the add-on fans for the Accelero S1 and S2 ($7.99 + shipping).
