Both of these are free and have gotten some great reviews. They're stable because they work on Internet Explorer's interface. Some of the features include Tabbed Interface (eg. Netscape), Skins, & Smart Popup Filter (Smart Popup killer)

SMOKING CRAZY HOT DEAL!!!
No rebates! No Price matches!!!
No ordering from the website and returning it instore!!!

And Best of all its free!!!

And yeah I use Crazy Browser cuz I was sick of having to open up a
dozen IE browsers just to keep up with mozilla on my linux box.
It does seem a tad bit faster....
cept when ur loading a dozen pages at startup and it does use up
quite a bit of resources....
but it hasnt frozen on me yet :D

MyIE2? I refuse to use a product made by people who can't spell "Introduction."

Wow, this Crazy Browser is really awesome. The popup killer works wonders too.
Is it just me or is it quicker than IE? lol =)

Vote for Phoenix as well.

If you dig deep enough, and create your own preferences, you can get rid of ALL Ads. (Hint, hint.)

MyIE is by far the best. Most customizable and feature rich, and lotsa plugins. Not quite as fast as opera tho but there are too many benefits to worry about a little speed. Blah to avant, crazy, mozilla and phoenix browser. :p

Btw this goes in Software with all the other browser prodding threads.

How do you use groups using Phoenix? I want it to load a few sites up at start-up, not just one.

K-meleon seems pretty fast...not sure if its faster than opera tho (but is faster than MyIE). Beyond that it has about 5% of the customizations and options that MyIE has. :)

http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/ Kmeleon is and has been my standalone browser for some time now. I've been using alternative browsers since opera would fit on a single floppy disc, and I always return to Kmeleon. The beauty of Kmeleon is the browser is predominantly modular if you like "layers" from opera you can add them to kmeleon or strip them out, same goes for favorites vs bookmarks, and then theres the ability to customize macro's. My only single complaint is a feature request thats been asked for time and time again, shift+click = open in new browser window . I've tried pheonix too and its about the only comparable browser imho to Kmeleon.

I really like mozilla, but its missing some key features that I use all the time. First, in IE when you open a new window you get a copy of the same page but ALSO the back button history thread from the window that you hit control N in. This is great for things like if you are entering in order information in a website, but want to go back to a previous page without losing where you are, open a new window THEN go back.
I realize some people like a new window to open to a blank page, but I'd at least like the OPTION to do this in mozilla.

Second problem I have with mozilla, in passworded (the kind that pop up a password prompt window) sites many times it repeatedly asks for a password even if you enter it correctly, the same sites in IE dont. In addition (actually this makes the previous problem really nasty) when a password prompt comes up, you can NOT do anything else in mozilla but put in a password, even if other windows are open. In IE you can still do stuff in other windows and come back and do a password in. In mozilla if it gets stuck into an endless password loop (which can happen even if you hit cancel) you can't do anything else but kill the task since you can't access the menu, or click close window or anything else.

Were these 2 problems fixed, I'd use mozilla for my primary browser, but until then I just use it occasionally. It IS quite handy if you are going to a site (like some game review sites) that have tons of popups.

Not to thread crap or anything, but I have used crazy browser for almost 1 year and for the past month it starts giving me problems while surfing the web with 'script/java/watever run time errors'
so I recently changed to Opera, and everthing works great now.

Opera offers a free verision too: ) seeems to me Opera is alot faster and more stable too.
