Looks like you were right about that. So sorry for doubting you. The rebate form says "$5.99 Rebate on a Sharpie Asst Fine 12 pk (SKU 463710)at Staples Store ONLY." I hate it when stores do that.

 
Yeah, I'll be screwed on this deal.

We have 2" of ice here and now it is raining. No way for me to get to the store for a couple days and our local Staples friggin sucks since the 2 best managers quit.

They usually have about 10 of the good deals in stock, then you are out of luck. They used to hold items, but anymore they won't.

Anytime after Sunday afternoon or Monday at the latest and no way you are going to get anything remotely good here.
 
I picked up my set yesterday at the Issaquah, Wa staples... they had tons of them on display and the store person said they had plenty in back.

$5.99 at register + $.53 tax = $6.52.

$6.52 - $5.99 easty-rebate (done online) = $.53 for 12 Sharpies.....nice!


 
Not online for me. It shows up as $8.99 and I don't get free shipping even though I have Staples Rewards. Not worth it unless I drive to the store. Not a good idea with all this ice. I might think twice about it if it was all black markers, but I don't need the assorted. I already have some assorted left over from a purchase made a couple of years ago that I never used.
 
Well, chipped my way out of the ice and made it in today. They had a few left, so I got 2. Kind of weird colors, didn't even know they made anything but black.

Black fine points are good for marking CD's and DVD's.
 
I wonder if this would work with the $5 off $5 coupon that's out and about on 'other' sites?

Would you still get the rebate? If so, you'd pocket roughly $4 after purchase
