Fry's has a generic 4 port unpowered USB hub for FREE after $6 rebate.

This was in the Los Angeles area, YMMV.

I believe this was also advertised in Bay Area Fry's last week.
 
I live in the L.A. area, but this is just not enough of a motivation to get me out of my seat and head down there.
Can't believe there's like 5 Fry's in SoCal and I can still be more than 1/2 hour away. I really do need one
of these though. I've been buying more and more stuff with USB. I even purchase a MS keyboard with two
addition USB ports and that's still not enough.
 
The only other thing I saw was an optical mouse for about $7 (no rebate hassle). Maybe that's more motivation?
 
Once a while Frys has free USB hub after rebate (this one or the other one from IOGear). However, it doesn't come with AC adapter so it might not that practical.
 
icaniwont, there's now a Fry's in City of Industry about 5minutes from where I live. You might wanna chk how far it is from your house.
