i got the rebates for the $10AR WD1200BB if that's what you're talking about.

well i used my friend's credit (since my $500 amex blue student broke when i bought something from staplers...) and got the checks mailed to his house. must admit it's a bit of a gamble but he told me that he received a $140 check of some sort (im guessing the $80 and $60 got combined?), maybe $10 is already there too since he's not at his house now...

so all rebates are valid and we are in for a $10 HD. great for those of us who gambled $160 plus tax for a 1200BB!
 
For anyone who purchased this mouse on Jul 13 or 14, they now have a rebate form up that is for the mouse only and these two days only. Same program number as on the original form but without the other items.
 
I just went to CC's site and it's now there for $9.99. I can't find any rebate which I would need. Even FW only links to CC and the Belkin.
Man, these would be great for the smaller kids at the childcare center where I'm building 5 more PCs.

allisolm, THANK YOU!! I just got an iBook and using the trackpad all the time was starting to drive me batty. Now I've got a pretty cool little mouse to use with it! Awesome... even at ten bucks, it's awesome. I'm gonna make copies of everything, send in for the rebate, and see what happens. If I get the rebate, this will be an ultra-sweet deal. If I don't, it's still a good deal.

I bought one online last night and picked it up today. I have a copy of the rebate form from mitch's ftp site but, and I mean no disrespect, can I count on that to be an authentic rebate form? The one I find online is dated between 07/04/03 and 07/12/03 while the one I have is dated between 7/13 and 7/19. My friend wants to buy one but he doesn't know about the rebate forms.
 
For all of you not wanting to go search the FW thread for the rebate link, here it is. This was a save of the original offer, which was quickly taken off by CC, when they found they had made a mistake in the price/rebate, so the mouse was free. I think it will still work. They offered it, who's to say you didn't print the form when it was still online, and then bought the mouse after they took it down.
 
Anyone check the status of their rebate?

I checked mine online. Circuit City rejected it. The reason was that it was purchased outside valid promotion dates. I bought mine on July 14. I've already sent them an e-mail on this, of course.




I called Circuit City's rebate center(1-888-213-9761) and was told that there was nothing she (Jessica) could do about it because the rebate is for item purchased on July 13 only. I mentioned to her that on the rebate form given to me at the time of purchase clearly states that the rebate is valid for item purchased between July 13, 2003 and July 19, 2003, she merely said that there was nothing she could do about it. I don't know about you guys but I'm returning mine back.

I just finally submitted the rebate last week. It isn't showing up yet on the Circuit City rebate page...

I didn't see the posts about the rebate being removed. I did happen to print the old copy, but we'll see if they'll take it.... I will post again when I get a response from CC.

Call them back and talk to the supervisor at the rebate office and explain to them that they are committing fraud.

Everyone who gets stiffed should file claims in small claims court. Their legal representation alone will change the dollar equation for them.
 
Sorry to hear that a lot of people are getting the royal shaft on this rebate. Luckily, I bought mine on the 13th luckily and mine has been approved.

Take them to task, make them honor the rebate that they had, and good luck.
 
I got my $10.00 from CircuitCity yesteday. Took with me the rejection letter (yes, I got the rejection letter) and rebate form and receipt and explained the situation to the manager. I am happy.😀
