The deal might not be dead, I didn't see any indication on their site that they already received the 225 entries. It's worth signing up for a free magazine to find out, in my opinion.

i got a subscription to The Sporting News free from these people a while back. It's been coming in for a good 3 months or so.... i used my e-mail that i only use for this kinda stuff...so not worried about spam. but the magazines will come (and presumably the dvd for the first 225) either way you might get a useful magazine anyway.

It's not the first 225 who sign up. It's the first 225 who get approved. You have to put down the answers they are looking for.

I've had an acct. with them for a few years, and get so many free mags I could start my own store. For previous members who put they are managers, directors etc. I give the DVD a 80/20 shot of being received. For the rest, it's a total crap shoot. IMO, doubtful.
