Update Part II, 9/11/02 --- Received my $75 Mastercard giftcard today!!!

Update IV 10/22/02 -- It appears that this deal is still alive. After you receive your money, you might as well cancel AT&T and switch over to OneSuite.com. 2.9 cents per minute (if you live in certain areas, you can get 2.5 cents per minute. I have been using OneSuite for over a year now without problems.

Thanks for posting this. I was shopping around for long distance last night. Glad I waited to make a decision.

I've been using a company called TTI. Good rates, but I don't like getting two seperate phone bills. I'll try to post a link later. One cool thing is that they only charge you to the nearest 10 seconds or something. So they don't charge you for a full minute if you don't use it.
No online bill pay though :(

.42 for the first minute, .07 each additional minute or .20 flat rate is hardly a deal.

Sure, no problem. Here is what I have done (twice now):

I normally use OneSuite.com for my long distance and leave my long distance with my local service provider. They do not charge me a monthly charge, and I never get a bill for it.

Last year, I signed up with AT&T and got the free $75. Then, signed up for online billing and got a $30 Amazon certificate. Used both offers, and canceled AT&T again back to my local service provider. I canceled the same day I used the offers. It worked flawlessly. I might of had to pay $10 to aT&T for miscellanous costs, but I got $105 in free stuff.

It is a great deal for people who don't mind going through a bit of hassle.....I think you can only do it once a year though.....check with AT&T to make sure.

Oh, and OneSuite.com has been the lowest place for long distance for the past two years. People try to post other deals that beat it, but can't. Some complain about quality, but I've never had a problem.....2.9cents per minute.....

Hmm, not a bad deal. Ihardly uses long distance so this could be hot. Are there any monthly fees for this service? If you dont make any calls will you be charged a certain amount? Or do you just pay for the amount of minutes you use? What would your bill be if you used 0 minutes?

AT&T has a million calling plans...call them up.

Besides, even if you had to pay $5-$10...who cares....you still get $95 in free stuff....

Yeah I have the same deal, 50 free minutes a month and 7 cents a minute after that. Pissed me off when they raised the rates a few months ago though, used to be 5 cents a minute. The AT&T deal is good for getting free stuff but I really don't like AT&T anymore. Hope every makes out OK on this deal!

I got .07 instate outof state.
No monthly but .35 surcharge per call.
I use one suite or cell phone for all my calls so I wanted a $0 monthly deal.

I was told the same thing about 2-3 week welcome kit including the $75 card with the kit.

Just signed up for the plan. This will get me my $75 GC from Mastercard. Does anyone know if I can sign up now for the online billing for my $30 Amazon GC? Should I wait awhile or am I in the ATT system already?

The original post says wait until active with ATT. I think that takes about a few days. I signed up for:

7 cent anytime plus, that's:
7 cent for state to state, in-state, and local toll calls, 24/7. There is a $3.95 monthly fee.

So basically onesuite.com offers an online rechargeable calling card with toll free access number for 2.9 cents/min 48 states US ?
Pincity makes you use local access numbers to save the most.
This beats them, and international rates are almost as good as pincity for the countries I call by local access number
Sometimes pincity sends out 15% discount codes on recharges.

Good find
